EXCELLENT QUALITY AND TIMELY WARRANTY REPAIR WORK FOR CHAMPION 8000W TRI-FUEL PORTABLE GENERATOR (MODEL 100416).
The portable generator was near the end of it’s 3 year parts and labor warranty when the fuel selection valve malfunctioned (would not allow operation with gasoline fuel). I contacted Champion customer service who immediately honored my warranty claim, advised me of a claim number and referred me to a local repair contractor. I took the generator to the contractor who immediately diagnosed the problem and I left the generator with them. Champion expressed delivered the necessary repair part, and the contractor immediately made the repair, tested the generator and called me for pick up. All of this happened over an amazing 7 day period! I was expecting at least a 3 plus week delay and the absence of a backup generator in Houston’s hurricane season was unsettling.
